Encyclopedia of Life
Neulich wurde die Encyclopedia of Life gelauncht. Zu finden unter eol.org. Na wenn das nicht mal ein wunderbares Projekt für Wikipedianer, Tager, IAs, Folksonomisten, Naturwissenschaftler oder Bibliothekare ist.
Bei der Encyclopedia of Life handelt es sich um ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt um den Biologen, Autor und Harvard Professor E.O. Wilson herum. E.O. Wilson ist der diesjährige TED Prize Gewinner. Seine wirklich tolle Dankesrede ist hier (22 Minuten) zu sehen. In seiner Rede äussert Wilson einen Wunsch (das ist bei TED Preis Gewinnern so üblich) - die Encyclopedia of Life ins Leben zu rufen.
