Visual Literacy
Visual-Literacy.org ist ein eLearning Angebot von vier Schweizer Hochschulen (den Universitäten St.Gallen, Lugano, Genf sowie der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz). Das Angebot scheint zur Zeit für Gäste zugänglich zu sein, man benötigt also kein Passwort von einer der Hochschulen, was wiklich großartig ist.
Das Angebot versteht sich als zu konsultierende Quelle in Fragen der Informationsvisualisierung.
These courses require advanced analytical and conceptual visualization skills in order to transform abstract thought efficiently into graphic, tangible forms and to manage the topic complexity and the problems addressed in each class.[...] With the Visual-Literacy.org online tutorial, professors and teachers can flexibly revert to an important resource whenever a course relies on conceptual visualization competence.
